Award Season is all about giving props to the best Hollywood has to offer- except for one award show that is!
The Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies, is kind of like the anti-Oscars. They honor an utter lack of excellence in film, often from stars known to be capable of superb work!
This year there are some newcomers on the Razzie radar: acclaimed actor Johnny Depp apparently went too far off the reservation in his role as Tonto in the box office bomb The Lone Ranger!
And Selena Gomez and Jaden Smith are starting their Razzie careers early with their dissed respective roles in Getaway and After Earth!
Who else got named to the list of the creme de la crap? See the full list of nominees …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Award season fast approacheth, and with all the accolades being handed out, there's always a few boos to boot.
The annual Razzie Awards are the stick to the golden carrot of the Oscars, celebrating not the best of the year in film, but the worst!
This year, the pre-nomination ballot is a star-studded affair.
Lindsay Lohan, Sofia Vergara, and Kate Bosworth are leading the actress' nominations, while Liam Hemsworth, Sylvester Stallone, and Robert DeNiro are strong contenders among the men.
Remember, the movies and performances on this ballot didn't connect with everyone, but it's all subjective. One critic's trash can be another's guilty pleasure!
And there can be only one worst.
But you can see all the potential Razzie nominees …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
How many action stars does it take to screw in a light bulb?
We’re not exactly sure but if the plot of The Expendables 3 has anything to do with screwing in a light bulb, it looks like it takes about half of Hollywood!
Could there BE anymore people in this cast??
Sylvester Stallone has brought even more fire power the third time around, adding Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Kellan Lutz, and Wesley Snipes to his already crowded court of trigger-happy heroes!
A new teaser trailer released today is really nothing more than a cast lineup with all of their names being fired into the background. But hey, it still sets the mood for a shoot ’em up action flick!
Ch-ch-check out the first look at The Expendables 3 above!
We knew he couldn’t have said anything THAT awful!
Sylvester Stallone stirred up some controversy when he allegedly used a racial slur on Thursday in response to a paparazzo.
Well it turns out he didn’t say that at all.
Frank Pesce, the man who was standing next to Sly at the time of the incident, said:
Hey, Sylvester Stallone. How’s your foot taste? We’re assuming you would know since it’s totally in your mouth right now!
Sly was leaving Caffe Roma in Beverly Hills on Thursday when he allegedly threw out a racial slur at a following photographer.
The heavyweight Hollywood actor was caught on tape turning back towards one of the paparazzos and saying:
Holy cannoli, these dudes can eat!!
We suspected the Italian Stallion was a fan of family style Italian food, but we had no idea The (Former) Governator loved devouring spicy meatballs by the mouthful!
Cameras caught Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, & other Escape Plan cast members at Buca di Beppo in NYC last night after a screening of their new film!
Forging marvelous man-muscles that massive certainly requires globs and globs of protein, but the action stars feasted on a fudge-ton of carbs, too, at their post-premiere part-AAy!
They must've worked up quite an appetite doing push-ups on the red carpet!
Mmmm, yummy! We want them in our mouth!! The plates of Italian food, we mean! Ha!!
You remember Rocky V, right? The One where Sylvester Stallone takes on a rookie boxer to train? Of course you do — and that rookie boxer was a man named Tommy Morrison.
Not only was he talented on the screen, but he was extremely talented off the screen as well. In 1993 he took home a real title, taking down George Foreman in the heavyweight championship. He was IMPRESSIVE.
Unfortunately, though, with heavy hearts we bring you the news of his passing at 44 years old. He lost his fight with AIDS, something even a great boxer can't beat.
Apparently Tommy had been in the hospital for several months, before he died peacefully with his wife by his side. His long-time boxing promoter confirmed the death.
Here's a sad bit of info: in 1996, Tommy tested positive for HIV. Because the sport almost guarantees you'll come in contact with another person's blood at some point, this ended Tommy's career. He then denied having it, and denied that the disease even existed.
Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
