How heartbreaking for Christina Grimmie's family.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Christina's family is reportedly upset over the Teen Choice Awards' decision not to mention the slain singer ONCE during the two-hour long broadcast.

While the late celeb won a posthumous award for Choice Web Star: Music, the event opted to leave her out of the powerful tribute to victims of gun violence. It was a very confusing choice given Grimmie's VERY recent death and her huge fan base.
A source close to C.G.'s family complained:
"While we are glad that Christina finally won her much deserved Teen Choice Award, we are also definitely disappointed that her name was not mentioned at any point during the two-hour broadcas. It seems they could have paid honor or tribute to her in some way and that opportunity was missed. The fans have a right to be upset."
All fair points. It's especially frustrating considering they used Christina's name to PROMOTE the broadcast — the least they could have done was mention her name!
Following the snub, fans started a petition against Fox titled, "Request Teen Choice Awards & Fox formally apologize for disrespecting Christina Grimmie". As of now, the petition has about 1,000 signatures.
While the network has yet to respond to the backlash, we wouldn't be surprised if they issued a statement soon.
So, do YOU think Christina's family deserves an apology?
