The Muppets may not be getting the best reviews for their ABC show, but they're certainly still trying to stay fresh with their commercials!

Not every studio is hopping on the superhero movie bandwagon!
It's been reported that to help launch its new era of monster films, Universal is rebooting The Mummy!
And according to Variety, Tom Cruise is in talks to star in the leading role!
Last summer, the studio assembled a team of Star Trek producer Alex Kurtzman and Furious 7 writer Chris Morgan to develop a multi-film universe where Universal's classic monster movie library can be resurrected!
The studio is trying to develop a Marvel or DC Comics style universe for its famous characters — but instead of Iron Man and Thor, it will be Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, and The Wolf Man!
So basically, Universal's answer to The Avengers films is the cast of Hotel Transylvania? LOLz!
As for The Mummy reboot, Cruise will reportedly play a major part in development of the revival. The plot is still under wraps (get it?) other than that it will be set in present day, not like the previous Brendan Fraser-led installments!

And in the process, the actress also revealed some pretty crazy stories about the religion's poster boy Tom Cruise! In excerpts from the tell-all, the 45-year-old recalled the movie star flipping out over things as simple as baking cookies!
Now that the book is out, the Mission: Impossible star is worried.
We still can't believe some of this stuff!
Leah Remini's tell-all book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood And Scientology, about her accounts of being part of the Church of Scientology just dropped on Tuesday.
Leading up to the controversial book, Leah had done quite a bit of press for it, including an interview with 20/20.
Not only did she reveal to the host that she's given the Church of Scientology "millions" of dollars, but she talked a little bit about her relationship with John Travolta and dished that Tom Cruise's probable relationship with Suri is based on the church's policy.
"Well, she's a baby. She's a child. She doesn't have a choice. No, but the policy of the church is that you can not be connected with someone who has committed a suppressive act. Which I have. Katie (Holmes) has. For the church policy, you have to shun that particular person."
Ch-ch-check out the rest of the interview (below) and hear Remini answer a caller's question about having regrets about Scientology!
Just when we thought it couldn't get anymore shocking!
Leah Remini is on a mission to expose the Church of Scientology. Not only did the King of Queens actress drop her tell-all book yesterday titled Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, but she has sat down for interviews on 20/20, as well as The View to go a little more in depth as to the terrible things she's witnessed!
There has already been quite a bit of information that has come out from Remini's book, and since Tom Cruise is such a prominent member in the church, the actress has shared information about the Mission Impossible actor flipping out, as well as his past relationships.
Well now we've got some new disturbing details regarding Cruise's relationship with actress Nazanin Boniadi!
Naznin is an Iranian-born actress who joined the Church of Scientology when she was 17 years old after her mother joined. Leah remembers becoming friends with Boniadi in 2003, but she recalls:
Remind us to call Jennifer Lopez the next time we need a home-cooked meal!
On Monday, Leah Remini took to Instagram to show her dear friend J.Lo whipping up something in the kitchen mere hours before her tell-all Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology hit shelves.
Now that's friendship!
Today's the day!
Leah Remini's highly-anticipated tell-all book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood And Scientology, is finally out in the public.
And as you might have expected, the King Of Queens star had A LOT more to say about him and his bizarre behavior other than just his wedding to Katie Holmes!
Leah recounts the time the Mission Impossible actor flipped out when handed a mug with a chip in the rim. She says he screamed at his assistant, yelling:
"You served me tea in a chipped mug? Do you know who gets served with a mug that's chipped? F**king DBs."
In Scientology, "DBs" stand for "Degraded Beings," and is a derogatory term to call someone who is evil.
Though she continues that he's shown his temper in other ways, even freaking out over cookie dough, which he didn't think was correctly prepared.
She claims he shouted at his assistant over it:
This was very inneresting!
Leah Remini joined Good Morning America on Monday to talk more about her much-discussed upcoming tell-all memoir about growing up in Scientology.
As we reported over the weekend, Remini's book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology — which will be released to the public on Tuesday — details various accounts of goings-on within Scientology, including the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
Now, Remini is speaking out even more, calling Scientology an "extremist" religion, and responding directly to Katie's statement wishing her well, saying:
"It's really because we both left that we're able to have this kind of grace towards each other because we're back to being human."
Ch-ch-check out the video with Remini discussing more of her book and experiences in the church (below):
