Move over, Ken Bone — DAVID PUMPKINS is in town!
For those who missed it, over the weekend Tom Hanks took to Saturday Night Live to gift fans with the hilarious David Pumpkins, the least scary (yet most amazing) character in a haunted elevator.
Decked out in an inexplicable pumpkin-printed suit, David unsuccessfully attempted to scare the haunted elevator's two patrons (Kate McKinnon and Beck Bennett) with his bizarre dance moves and even weirder skeleton backup dancers (Mikey Day and Bobby Moynihan).

Naturally, fans went WILD for the sketch and Pumpkins' ridiculous ensemble. We can't say we blame them considering this might be the actor's best role to date!
So, for those looking to recreate David's iconic look, we're happy to report you can do it on the cheap, thanks to Walmart!
For less than $100, you too can
We've heard what his opponents and his supporters think of the detestable comments Donald Trump made to Billy Bush about what you can do to women "when you're a star."
But being one of America's favorite movie stars of all time, the always adorable Tom Hanks has something to say about that.

The affable Oscar winner took time during his European press junket for Da Vinci Code followup Inferno to talk about the U.S. election, and he gave the perfect response to the scandal.

Tom Hanks has turned the charm way up!
After adorably crashing a New York couple's wedding shoot in Central Park over the weekend, the actor completely won over the staff of one Boston restaurant on Monday!

The Sully star visited Pier 6 for a "fast and casual" lunch along with seven of his pals, which according to one staff member was a complete surprise, sharing with People:
"A woman made an anonymous reservation requesting the private dining room, and next thing you know, Tom Hanks walks in."
We can only imagine their surprise! LOLz!
And the only thing to make his appearance even sweeter?? Well, besides using a flawless Boston accent to compliment the staff…
A big fat tip! The same employee shared:
Nothing like an awkward Twitter feud with a national hero to make things interesting at the box office!
We already know this weekend's box office was VERY unkind to new releases Bridget Jones's Baby, Snowden, and Blair Witch, but only one of those movies is adding insult to its own injury!

Blair Witch failed to crest even $10 million in its box office opener, which meant lots of blame to go around for everybody involved.
And yet, while writer Simon Barrett was self-deprecatingly funny about the whole thing, we can't say the same for director Adam Wingard (pictured above, left).
The drama all started when Barrett tweeted:
Just when you thought Hollywood had no fresh
water ideas left!
There have been quite a few movies about mermaids over the years, but Disney's re-imagining the 1984 hit of Splash already has us foaming at the mouth — because it will star Channing Tatum as a MERMAN!
According to Deadline, the remake will be a gender swapped take on the original romance film — which launched the careers of Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah — about a man who falls in love with a mermaid who saved his life as a young boy.

The idea was pitched by Workaholics star Jillian Bell, who will be playing Hanks' role in the human-mermaid love equation. That means in this version, the Magic Mike star will fulfill our fantasies by playing the mermaid (ahem, we mean mer-MAN)!
We have a feeling this version will have a lot more comedy in it, but even so — Tatum washing up on shore as a mythical sea creature might not make a splash with modern day audiences.
Do YOU think this intriguing re-imagining of Splash is a refreshing take on an old classic, or will this sink to the abyss of the box office? Cast your votes (below)!
