This guy always does inneresting work, and this sounds like no exception!
Sony Pictures Classics is reportedly attempting to secure the domestic rights to Morgan Spurlock‘s new documentary, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, which focuses on the filmmaker as he tries to get companies and brands to sponsor his movie, and is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival!
He explains the film as:
“Everywhere you look it seems like something’s being brought to you by some sponsor or some corporation. So we said, ‘Why not make a doc that looks at that and have the brands actually pay for it?'”
We LOVED Supersize Me and Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?, so hopefully this new one will follow suit, and get picked up for distribution so everyone else can see it!
