Kings Of Leon Postpone Tour For Drummer’s Surgery

Kings of Leon’s rabid fans will have to take a breather and wait while the drummer recovers from surgery.

The band’s touring company released a statement about the postponement:

“The Frontier Touring Company regret to advise that the Kings Of Leon tour has been postponed from March 2011 to November 2011 to allow drummer Nathan Followill to recover from surgery for a torn right labrum and bicep.”

The band feels confident that Nathan will fully recover later this year and have set up make-up concerts starting in March 2011.

Nathan felt bad about having to postpone and issued an apology on his twitter account:

“Sorry to all the fans in Australia and South Africa. My bum wing needs more time to heal but we’ll be back later this year. Sorry again.”

We hope the surgery goes well, bb!!
