Just in time for the 50th year anniversary of John F. Kennedy‘s inauguration into the White House.
ABC has announced it will premiere a primetime special this September featuring never-before-heard tapes of Jacqueline Kennedy talking about the JFK assassination and her years in the White House.
The tapes, recorded in 1964, surfaced when the History Channel announced the $25 million miniseries about the Kennedy family.
Mrs. Kennedy stipulated that the tapes can not be made public until after her passing. They consist of a long conversation she had with historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. shortly after her husbands assassination.
Although at first hesitant, the couples only surviving child Caroline Kennedy is said to be participating in the special.
There should definitely be something interesting insight and secrets revealed during the special, so we can’t wait to hear these tapes!
