Time will only tell if he will succeed!
Let’s all be honest – no one uses their MySpace anymore. It’s all about the Facebook and the Twitter. It’s become updated, passe. They’ve laid off almost all of their staff and the last we heard, the head honchos were just about ready to fold.
But there might just might be a way to save MySpace … and his name is Justin Timberlake!
It was announced via the company that Justin is taking a stake in MySpace and is eager to help in its new strategy and creative direction to a more music based website. On his stake about the ownership, he explains:
“There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect. Myspace has the potential to be that place. Art is inspired by people and vice versa, so there’s a natural social component to entertainment. I’m excited to help revitalize Myspace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community.”
It’s a nice gesture. Know what would be a better one? If you celebrated this new music social media outlet with a new ALBUM!
Do it! Do it! DO IT! WE COMMAND YOU!
