Survivor Alum Ethan Zohn’s Cancer Is Back

Ethan Zohn Cancer Again

Just 20 months after beating his first round of cancer, we are so sad to say that Ethan Zohn‘s Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is back.

It’s located near his lungs, but luckily it hasn’t spread so far yet. He’ll be getting specialized chemo (the kind where he won’t lose his hair because it targets specific cells), and he’s probably going to get another stem cell transplant from his brother.

├óΓé¼┼ôI don├óΓé¼Γäót want fear or cancer to define me, but it├óΓé¼Γäós always in the back of your mind. It├óΓé¼Γäós localized in my lung area. But it├óΓé¼Γäós good that it├óΓé¼Γäós not all over my body. Cancer isn’t going to slow me down. I want people to know that you can still live a fulfilled life and move forward.”

That’s not going to hold him back, however, as he plans to run a marathon after his first round of chemo. He’s in high spirits, and he still has his girlfriend of 8 years to battle right there alongside him!

“She’s taking it like the rock star that she is. We’re both filled with fear and anger and anxiety and gratitude and frustration. But there’s so much love there. It’s this whole spectrum of emotions.”

We say that if he beat it once, he can beat it again! His attitude about it is perfect for the fight, and we can’t wait to hear that he’s cancer-free again!

Good luck, Ethan! We’re thinking of you!!
