What a thoughtful GaGa.
Lady GaGa sent Canadian teen Jacques St. Pierre the above video, thanking him for his anti-bullying efforts in his school.
The 17-year-old organized an anti-bullying program at his high school in Toronto and sent dozens of messages to celebrities asking them to lend their support.
In an interview, Jacques voiced his own experience with being bullied when he was younger:
“I got called the gay kid, the f*g, because I liked to be in the school plays. I lost my best friend because he joined in with the bullies. It’s not fun, I’ve been there, I’ve been bullied.”
When GaGa got word of his Jacques’ efforts to stop bullying in his school, she took the time to send him a video, saying:
“I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for being such a strong advocate of the LGBT community in your school. There should be more little monsters like you.”
How sweet! It’s making us tear up a little.
