Miranda Lambert embraces her booty!
She’s just fine with not being one of those stick-like runway models, and we’re so happy to hear she’s content with her body!
And, it turns out, she’s a big fan of eating (SPOILER: because you need to!):
“Really skinny actresses make me hungry. I see them and think, ‘Honey, you need to eat!’ I’m lucky I don’t have to live like that.”
We hear that! Of course, in moderation though…!
Plus, she totally loves that behind of hers:
“I don’t mind having a big butt. I actually like that about myself. I feel my best when I’m a toned, not flabby, size 8. I’m a confident person overall. Though like any other girl, I have insecurities. But my job is to entertain. I can’t call in insecure and miss a show.”
She even says it’s okay to indulge during the holidays!
“It’s okay to be fat and lazy sometimes. But eventually you’re like, ‘Oh crap, I shouldn’t have done that!’ I always scarf down food after a show. But now, instead of eating a burger, I’ll have a grilled chicken salad waiting for me. And except for almonds and bananas, I don’t keep snacks on the bus. I don’t want Cheetos anywhere around me!”
We like this. We like not having to worry yourself sick over how thin you are, but we also like that she’s not condoning never watching what you eat.
She’s promoting being healthy!
Being healthy is what counts, no matter what shape you are!
