Talk about an odd couple!
But they were brought together for a wonderful reason, so hey! We’ll take it!
During Tuesday’s Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, during which over 100 of the United States’ most success entrepreneurs met up in New York to try and brainstorm ways to help solve some serious issues going on in the world today, the attendees were treated to a little musical treat by two people we never even anticpated would be in the same room EVER!
That’s right, Jon Bon Jovi – who is ranked by the magazine as one of the most charitable celebrities himself – teamed up with Warren Buffet – arguably the most successful investor of the 20th century AND apparently quite the ukulele player – for a charming cover of Bette Midler‘s Glory Of Love!
Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
As Buffet mentioned before the performance:
“The first line of The Glory of Love, incidentally, is ‘You’ve got to give a little.’ So I think it’s quite appropriate for the occasion.”
So do we!
How absolutely charming!
And it really is made all the better that they would do this in honor of such a good cause!
We’ll be VERY curious to hear the results of the meeting when they’re published in the Fall!
Nothing like a little bit of art and music to help get the brain-stormin’! Ha!
