Baby steps, Rosie….baby steps!
Rosie O’Donnell has been on the mend since her heart attack in August and changing her diet has been a big step in the process.
The comedienne watched the heralded Forks over Knives documentary and sought help from Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn‘s diet, a doctor famous for his approach on veganism.
However, while the doc’s diet is good and STRICT, Rosie decided it wasn’t for her, switching to a fish and plant based diet.
She says the following on her new diet choice:
It├óΓé¼Γäós plant-based ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ no animal products at all. It├óΓé¼Γäós basically vegetarian, but we do eat fish ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós actually called pescetarian.
I do miss steak, cheeseburgers, cheese ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I miss dairy in general. But I feel so much better already.
Rosie will appear on Dr. Oz to discuss her battle with heart disease and life after her cardiac arrest.
