As we previously reported, Boston police announce they had detained three additional suspects involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.
It has now been revealed that two of the three were classmates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. They all studied at University of Dartmouth together.
Azamat Tazhayako and Dias Kadyrbayev were reportedly arrested on May 1, according to CNN, in connection with the bombing that took place during the Boston Marathon.
Both from Kazakhstan, the two (who have also dealt with immigration charges) are expected to appear before a judge on Wednesday to face their reported charges of ‘making false statements to investigators and conspiracy to obstruct justice.’
The identity of the third has yet to be revealed, but it’s being reported they are a U.S. citizen.
According to law enforcement officials, all three are accused of removing items from Dzhokhar’s dorm room after the bombings. They also believe the suspects helped destroy evidence that could further implicate Dzhokhar in the bombing.
Hopefully new information will be released soon.
