As a middle school football coach, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking your team out for a meal after a hard fought game!
But as a middle school football coach, you should probably know better than to plan the celebratory meal at a Hooters!
Well apparently Corbett Middle School’s coach did NOT know better, and he ended up being fired for it!
Randy Burbach was planning on taking his team to the risqu├â┬⌐ restaurant for an end-of-the-season celebration, and when his boss asked him to change the location, he wouldn’t budge!
Corbett Middle School’s Athletic Director Jean-Paul Soulagnet explained the situation, saying:
“I had a conversation with him asking him if he would change the location of the venue and he said no. He was just extremely adamant about keeping it where it was. He was not going to change the location, which was important to me so that all the kids and all the families could celebrate a good season in a place where everybody would be comfortable. As for further coaching, I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót support him. There├óΓé¼Γäós no question that Hooters is not an appropriate place for 13, 14, and 15-year-old kids to go.”
Yeah, that’s true considering these boys are in MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!
Jean-Paul went on to say that Randy was a great coach, and his firing definitely could have been avoided if he would have simply picked a better restaurant!
We know they have great wings at Hooters, but are they really worth losing your job over??
If only he would have settled for a Chili’s instead! LOLz!
