Cancer-Stricken Dad Writing Magnum Opus To Daughter On 826 Napkins! Prepare For The Waterworks!

cancer stricken dad writing magnum opus to daughter on napkins

Our hearts are bursting right now.

Garth Callaghan was dealt a shoddy hand in this life. The 44-year-old father has been diagnosed with cancer three times in a little less than two years. Kidney cancer twice. Prostate cancer once.

He has less than a ten percent chance of making it past another five years. And yet you won’t see this father down and out.

Cancer-free at the moment, Garth has made it his mission to keep a loved tradition going for his daughter Emma. The daddy has been putting notes in his daughter’s lunchbox ever since she was in second grade.

Which is why this loving father plans on making sure his daughter will continue to have notes all the way until she’s done with high school. With a motto of “Pack. Write. Connect,” Garth plans on writing 826 lunchtime notes while he still can.

The notes he writes can be a funny quote, an inspiring message, or something incredibly emotional. In one note he wrote:

“Dear Emma, sometimes when I need a miracle I look into your eyes and realize I’ve already created one.”

Aw. That’s so sweet and sad and amazing.

He’s been sharing the notes across the internet, and they are amazing! Find most of them HERE.

And get a nice sample of his awesome notes and photos down (below) !!!
