You don’t get to the Olympics without sacrificing a little blood, sweat, and tears! Unfortunately, Rowan Cheshire found this out the hard way!
The 18-year-old British skier was forced to withdraw from the winter games after a horrible accident during a training run in the halfpipe knocked her unconscious!
Well Rowan took to Twitter to share a painful selfie of the aftermath, and it does NOT look very good!
“Wasn’t the best day yesterday, still don’t remember much! Thanks everyone for the lovely messages”
Luckily, Rowan has been getting tons of support from her fellow athletes and even posted a picture of a nice care package consisting of candy, chips, and flowers! Basically all of the essentials to a speedy recovery!
She’s also back on her feet again as she was cheering on her teammates from the sidelines and even jokingly took on the new role as the team’s “tea wench”!
We’re so glad to see Rowan is in good spirits after her scary accident, and hopefully she’s able to make the most of her remaining time in Sochi!
