If you thought Angelina Jolie was a rebellious young adult back in her twenties, boy are you wrong!
The mother of six is tired of people misconstruing her behavior when she was in her twenties and she’s here to set it straight!
“[My twenties were] misinterpreted as [me] wanting to be rebellious. And in fact it wasn├óΓé¼Γäót a need to be destructive or rebellious├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it├óΓé¼Γäós that need to find a full voice, to push open the walls around you. You want to be free. And as you start to feel that you are being corralled into a certain life, you kind of push against it. It may come out very strange, it may be interpreted wrong, but you├óΓé¼Γäóre trying to find out who you are.”
In fact, the actress-turned-director confessed the reason why she pushed to be free and find herself was because she didn’t want to live a life that was only half-lived!
“I realized that very young├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥that a life where you don├óΓé¼Γäót live to your full potential, or you don├óΓé¼Γäót experiment, or you’re afraid, or you hesitate, or there are things you know you should do but you just don’t get around to them, is a life that I’d be miserable living, and the only way to feel that I’m on the right path is just to be true to myself, whatever that may be, and that tends to come with stepping out of something that├óΓé¼Γäós maybe safe or traditional.”
Is it safe to say Angie was like the first millennial hipster in a lot of ways? LOLz!
Everyone should take this to heart because that’s certainly the best way to live life to the fullest!!
