Man Who Wrote A Guide On Surviving Pamplona’s Running Of The Bulls Gets Injured At The Running Of The Bulls!

Bill Hillmann's expertise couldn\'t save him from injury at Pamplona\'s running of the bulls!

When you sign up for an event that involves being chased by several angry bulls for half a mile, you have to know that the chances of getting injured are pretty darn high!

Unless, of course, your name is Bill Hillmann!

Why, you ask? It might have something to do with the fact that “Buffalo” Bill is considered one of the top bull runners out of the U.S. and actually co-wrote a book titled Fiesta: How to Survive the Bulls of Pamplona!

Unfortunately, his knowlege went to waste and this year’s running of the bulls in Pamplona as he was one of two people to be gored during the dangerous event!

At least he survived, though, right??

Anyway…

Bill was stabbed in the leg with a bull’s horn, but luckily it missed his artery and bone, and he’s expected to make a full recovery after he underwent surgery. A Spaniard standing next to him was also stabbed in the chest and was listed as being in “serious” condition.

Luckily Bill will live to tell the tale of his injury at next year’s event, however, we think it’s time he goes back to his book and re-writes a few chapters!
