The Tim Burton-produced Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass is set for principal photography this week, which means the cast is on lock.
The sequel to Disney‘s 2010 live-action feature is set for release in May of 2016, so it’s still going to be a while until we get to see what the interesting cast of characters is up to.
Also, Sacha Baron Cohen is joining the cast as ‘Time’ while Alan Rickman and Stephen Fry will return to voice their original characters from the first movie.
The first Alice was a huge box office success; it’s currently the 16th highest grossing movie of all time. And not only that, but the special effects-laden outing also won two Oscars for Art Direction and Costume Design.
So… basically this second one is going to have some pretty big shoes to fill.
