This Texas Homecoming Queen Restored Faith In Humankind By Sharing Her Crown With A Friend Who Was Bullied!

The story of how Lillian Skinner became homecoming queen will melt your heart!

For some girls, being named your school’s homecoming queen is a dream come true. But these two girls at Grand Prairie High School in north Texas decided to take their special moment to help a friend in need!

17-year-old Lillian Skinner has been described by her peers as an “amazing girl” and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but that didn’t stop a few of her classmates from pulling a nasty prank on her by telling her she had been nominated for homecoming queen when she actually wasn’t.

Luckily, Lillian’s friends Anahi Alvarez and Naomi Martinez actually were nominated for the prestigious honor, and they came up with a plan to help raise her spirits:

“We promised each other and we were like, ‘No matter what, no backing down. If one of us wins, we’re giving Lillian the crown.'”

Well Anahi ended up being named homecoming queen, and she stuck to her word as she immediately turned the crown over to Lillian for the whole school to see!

The heartwarming story has gotten a TON of attention, and Lillian says she’s STILL in disbelief over the whole thing:

“I was like, ‘Wow, really? Like, wow! Like, is this a dream or something?'”

It’s so amazing to see people helping others simply out of the kindness of their hearts, and we think it’s safe to say that all three of these ladies are queens in our book!
