The HBO feature, advertised on billboards and in commercials, only pulled in around 888,000 viewers during the east coast 9PM showing — while BBT repeats captured the public at 2,790,000 million views.
While some would call it a flop, we really can’t compare the two shows, since one is on a premium network people pay extra for, and the other is basic cable!
The vampy show brought in a cool 4 million viewers to the network, leaving the popular couple’s concert in the dust!
Now, we get that a singing special and a scripted series are still very different, but we really thought more people would turn out to see Yonc├â┬⌐ and her man live…
Considering they’ve been at the forefront of tabloid rumors questioning their marriage!
Encore, on-demand and HBO Go plays have not been taken into account just yet, but we have a feeling the final tally is going to be nowhere near 4,000,000!
