The Utah Jazz Made This Little Boy Battling Leukemia’s Dream Come True By Signing Him For A Day And Letting Him PLAY In A Game!

Sorry, LeBron! JP Gibson is now the hottest name in the NBA!

Does the “no crying in baseball” rule also apply to basketball, because this story is giving us ALL the feels!

5-year-old JP Gibson didn’t let his battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia keep him from becoming one of the biggest stars in the NBA last night when he made his debut for the Utah Jazz!

The pint-sized basketballer’s wish was granted as he got a chance to play for his favorite team after the Jazz offered him a 1-day contract, which he gladly signed with a crayon!

JP was then invited to EnergySolutions Arena, where he got a chance to suit up in his very own jersey and rub elbows with some players he quite literally looks up to!

But the fun didn’t stop there, as he actually was subbed into the game at the end of the third quarter and made the most of it by throwing down a slam dunk so epic, LeBron James decided to retire from basketball completely!

OK, so we may have made that last part up and JP may have gotten a helping hand from one of his teammates, but that doesn’t make this story any less heartwarming!

Ch-ch-check out JP’s NBA debut (below)!
