In Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the deer don’t take no crap from nobody!
A 72-year-old man was out hunting with a crossbow on the Peebles Trail near Highway K in the town of Taycheedah (we swear none of these locations are made up), in case you’re familiar with the area and terrified of violent deer.
It’d probably be a good area to stay away from, because the deer here sound pretty damn tough!
The man apparently wounded a doe with an arrow and later went back to track the deer. That’s when the creature sprung its trap!
An officer involved in the case said:
“Apparently the man was going through some thick brush and the deer leaped out and went after him. The doe struck him in the leg with her head.
I’m guessing the deer got away.”
The man’s condition is unknown. We really hope he’s okay!
Deer have hard heads and razor sharp hooves. If that creature was pissed off it got shot, it could’ve done some real damage.
Maybe the secret is to not hunt and just let deer be. That could work.
We wish him nothing but a speedy recovery and we hope the deer lived too!
