The drama between Lil Wayne and Birdman rages on. The rapper is suing his estranged mentor for $8 million dollars, but he’s planning on taking even more moolah from the guy.
Apparently the Fireman rapper has filed a lawsuit to end his contract with Cash Money!
Written in the lawsuit, Lil Wayne claims Birdman and his company violated his contract by withholding tens of millions of dollars the label owes him for his delayed album.
Since Cash Money is reportedly refusing to pay the rapper, he thinks he’s entitled to break his contract and walk away.
Not only did he ask to leave the label in the lawsuit, he’s also asking for $51. Million. Dollars. Plus a joint copyright ownership of all of Young Money’s recordings.
It’s safe to say the 32-year-old is pissed. This is going to have one messy outcome.
