A TransAsia Airways plane crashed in Taiwan Wednesday morning, and horrifyingly, the entire thing was caught on film.
The ATR-72 turbo-prop plane went down just moments after taking off from Taipei Songshan Airport — and crashed into a bridge before hitting the river.
According to the latest reports, there were 58 people on board the flight.
15 have been rescued from the river with 18 still unaccounted for. At least 25 are confirmed dead.
The dashboard cam of a motorist just yards from the crash caught the shocking moment on video (below):
We can’t imagine what the survivors or the families of the victims must be going through.
Nor can we fathom what it must be like to almost get struck by a plummeting jet on your way to work.
This entire incident is just terrifying.
