But there was a contract!
After fans of the book finally got to see those sexy scenes imagined onscreen, rumors began circulating that Jamie’s wife Amelia Warner wasn’t too pleased, and was demanding that Jamie drop out of the potential 50 Shades Darker installment.
Well, we do have some good news for you!
Jamie still might not be in the sequel, but… that’s only because Universal hasn’t picked it up yet!
In fact, once the movie is official, Jamie and Dakota Johnson are both contracted to star in the whole series.
Plus, we’d be pretty surprised if the other books weren’t adapted onto film considering the first one has raked in more than $411 million!!!
That’s a relief!
(Though, we do know there are ways to break a contract! Let’s hope that DOESN’T happen!)
