He’ll be there for this emotional final episode!

Jonathan Groff was a main fixture on the show Glee during its first few seasons, and although the star has had lots of success since leaving — he’s reportedly coming back for the Fox show’s final episode!

Groff will be reprising his character Jesse St James for the two hour series finale set for March 20th and we’re so pumped to see him on the show again!

Groff was previously Lea Michele‘s character’s love interest on the show and Jonathan has said previously if he goes back to Glee ever he would hope to spend the most time with Lea!

He said:

“If I were to be back on Glee, I would like to spend some time with Lea Michele because I love her and we go way back.”

We’re not sure if Groff is going to be singing on the show, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he did!

And he has always wanted to sing a certain Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton classic. He said:

“My go-to is Islands in the Stream.”

We’d love to see Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff sing that classic duet together! It would be MAGIC!

Don’t ya think?! Definitely bring your tissues!
