North Carolina Thieves On The Run With MILLIONS After Biggest Gold Robbery In The State’s History!

Wait a minute, thieves actually try these last big scores in real life? And pull them off??

Apparently some criminals in North Carolina saw too many heist movies because they committed one of the biggest thefts the state has ever seen.

After an armored car had to pull over on the I-95 due to mechanical problems on Sunday, three armed men drove up in a white van, tied up the security guards, and took all the gold.

In total the robbers got away with an estimated $4.8 million!

A statewide manhunt (seen above) is now on for the thieves.

This is officially the largest gold heist in NC history, though the biggest cash robbery on record was when $17 million was taken from Charlotte’s Loomis Fargo vault in 1997.

The men involved in that robbery were later arrested, and we’re guessing these guys aren’t going to get away with it either.

Due to the amount of money involved, a $50,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
