Just in time for summer, your favorite pick-me-up is going to be available at your local Starbucks├óΓé¼┬ª on ice!
The coffee giant announced that their cold brewed coffee, that was tested last August, will be available for consumption at 2,800 locations. Sadly for West Coasters, the initial rollout is only in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, and the midwest. No one is really sure why.
Upping the ante, Starbucks will cold brew their coffee for 20 hours, instead of 12 hours like other places. According to their double-blind testing, 20 hours is “the perfect spot where the coffee was rich, dense, and slightly sweet.”
The March 31st debut does pose one problem though: there will only be one batch per store daily! That means only about 40 Grandes worth.
Yikes! Better get in line early.
