Lorde Shows Support For X Factor New Zealand‘s Bullied Contestant! Singer Sends Inspirational Letter AND Something Sweet!

More stars are reaching out to Joe Irvine, the X Factor New Zealand contestant who was bullied by the show’s judges live on air!

After the contestant received cold and disparaging feedback from judge Natalia Kills bearing his resemblance to her husband and fellow judge Willy Moon, many fans reached out to Irvine showing their support.

But the love didn’t stop there! Singer Lorde showed her support to the aspiring singer by sending him a handwritten letter and some yummy cupcakes:

The Yellow Flicker Beat songstress’s note had an inspirational message about artistic originality:

“No matter how many people make fun of me for how I dress, move, & act, I’m being me — and that’s what’s important.”

This isn’t the first singer to reach out to Irvine. Musician Ed Sheeran tweeted his support to the contestant, telling Irvine that singing was not about what other people thought.

The bad news for judges Kills and Moon is that everyone heard what THEY thought, and their words were so mean that both judges ended up getting fired from the show!

We think it’s great that artists are showing their love for Irvine, who has made the next round of X Factor despite the judges harsh words!

Keep singing, Joe!!
