It’s hard enough to hear others criticize your own weight — but the worst critic of them all is yourself.
That’s what Giuliana Rancic is dealing with these days, aside from her Fashion Police drama.
As of late, the E! News host has been hearing a ton of rumors about having an eating disorder and she’s putting her foot down to stop it all.
On Wednesday’s episode of Dr. Oz, G explained that it’s so hard to look at herself in the mirror because of her slender frame.
She opened up about the weight loss and even admitted she didn’t think she looked attractive:
“Trust me, I don’t want to lose weight. I don’t think it looks attractive. I think I used to be more attractive. But I’m doing the best I can.
I actually recently spoke to a personal trainer because my doctor said, ‘Maybe you should get in the gym.’ And I’m thinking, ‘Get in the gym? I don’t want to lose weight! Don’t you usually go the gym to lose the weight?'” she recalled. “And he said, ‘No, no, no, you should — just don’t do cardio. Do some weight training.’
So there I am, lifting my little 10-pound weights. I’m just trying to get some more definition, because I want a little bit of curve, I want to be sexy. And right now, it’s killing me to look in the mirror and see that I’ve just lost all [of it]. I’m just not the girl I used to be.”
Hopefully the on-air personality will be able to go back to her ideal weight and figure in the near future.
But on the plus side, at least she’s healthy!
