Well, it looks like it’s a case of she said, she said.
Mariah Carey is claiming that her publicist didn’t quit, she fired her first!
Reportedly, Mariah has asserted that she wrote a letter to her now ex-publicist Cindi Berger, telling her that she wanted to part ways.
A portion of the letter read:
“I’ve done a lot of soul-searching this past year … and I found myself asking if I was truly employing a healthy perspective (not to sound too Oprah about it all :)… So I think it’s time for us to take a break Cindi.”
She also went on to say that she wanted to “bring a fresh approach to this new phase in my career.”
However, Cindi’s office claims they never received this letter, and sources close to Cindi say she’s the one who ended things!
Maybe when it came to this letter, Mariah decided to keep it secret, keep it safe!
Mimi even ended the note by offering to buy out an ad in one of the trades to honor Cindi’s Women of Power award.
Miz Carey’s new manager, Stella Bulochnikov, claims that Cindi leaked her tale of quitting, so now? No more ads for Cindi.
