We’re glad he’s standing up to this atrocious act!

A 21-year-old transgender man has filed a sex discrimination lawsuit that claims he was forced out of a job he had recently landed after they noticed on his drivers license that he was listed as a female.

And they subsequently made some demands of him that he was totally not cool with.

Tristan Broussard filed the suit against Mississippi-based financial loan company First Tower Loan LLC on Monday.

His case is being backed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights group, as well as the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

Tristan claims that when he was hired by the company and told them about him being a transgender male, he was taken aside by one of the Vice Presidents and asked to sign a document promising he would dress in women’s clothes and would stay with other females in hotel rooms when out on business trips.

The document’s language also included words such as Tristan’s “preference to act and dress as male, despite having been born a female, is not something that will be in compliance with Tower Loan’s personnel policies.”

And the worst part is that when Tristan refused to sign this awful document – he ended up having to leave the company!

But this lawsuit isn’t over yet and Tristan will soon have a day in court to show the world that this kind of discrimination won’t stand!
