Bruce Jenner’s Gender Identity Was Just A ‘Quirk’ To Kris?! Did She Really Not Know He Wanted To Transition??

Sources say Kris Jenner 'never knew' Bruce wanted to transition into a woman!

Wait, what?!

In his brave 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer last week, Bruce Jenner announced that he was in the process of transitioning into a woman.

He broke the news to each of his ex-wives decades before the interview aired, but now we’re learning that Kris Jenner, his most recent ex, might not have fully understood what he meant.

A source close to the reality TV mom says Kris:

“never knew Bruce wanted to be a woman. She thought Bruce had a little quirk and he asked her to keep it a secret, so she did.”

Well, in the interview Bruce said that even though you couldn’t miss his 36B breasts at the time, he “downplayed” to Kris what he was going through when they first met.

But plenty of sources say that Kris definitely knew his secret from the get-go:

“She knew that he struggled with gender identity. She knew he had been on hormones and that his body had changed.”

Still, the Jenner insider claims Bruiser’s ex didn’t entirely understand how he was actually feeling:

“Before Kris and Bruce got married, Kris assured his ex-wives that she knew about ‘the issue.’ She wanted them to know that she thought it was just a phase and that she could ‘fix’ him.”

Very inneresting. If Kris was, in fact, trying to “fix” Bruce, that would definitely explain these reports that she was the reason he stopped his hormone treatment back in the ’80s.

The Kardashian mom has been under the microscope ever since the Olympian’s tell-all aired. She is adamant that she was never reached out to for comment, while ABC insists that she was contacted, but chose not to respond.

We’re not quite sure what to make of all this, but as long as Bruce is happy, we’re happy for him!

( From Perez: Bruce stated in the interview to use “he” and “him” so we will do so in our coverage until that changes. )
