According to police in Highlands County, Florida, Cheryl Treadway sent in an order to Pizza Hut with some very special instructions Monday afternoon.

In the comments section, she wrote “911hostagehelp” with the delivery instructions:

“Please help. Get 911 to me”

Pizza Hut employees called the police, who sent deputies to Cheryl’s house.

When they arrived, she told them that her boyfriend Ethan Nickerson had been holding her and her children hostage with a knife!

Police freed Cheryl and her children and arrested Nickerson, who was later charged with aggravated assault, battery, false imprisonment, and obstruction of justice — for trying to prevent Cheryl from contacting law enforcement.

Good thing that last one didn’t work out for him. We are impressed with this mom’s quick thinking!
