Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay Z probably got tired of not being able to find their dream home in sunny LA, so they decided to take matters into their own hands and buy a church in — wait for it — New Orleans, LA.
Reportedly, at least!
It’s been rumored that the musical couple bought a home that was built as a Presbyterian church in the New Orleans’ Garden District.
The casa was built in 1927 and boasts 13,292 square feet with 26 foot ceilings and three 1,000 square foot apartments! That’s a lot of room for just a family of three!
But hay, at least Blue Ivy can have a room for everything her tiny little heart desires!
The church turned ballet school turned home includes:
“A light-filled great room serves as a hub for lots of nooks and crannies, including a step-up dining room, a loft-style sitting room and a library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. The master suite, which manages to be cozy while also exuding a royal vibe, adjoins a walk-in closet and a bathroom that’s decked out with a massive, old-style wooden vanity, a large antique bathtub and a separate shower.”
Not only that, but apparently on a former listing for the home, a Grammy winner said:
“acoustics and vibes are great. I did my best writing ever, while watching the sunset from the rooftop garden.”
That just sounds perfect for the Grammy winning pair! Baby Blue could totally start her recording journey there too!
The home was listed at $2.6 million and was bought by a company with ties to Queen Bey. Why we’re all knowing about this now, we have no idea.
This purchase just brings a whole new meaning to the blessed hashtag.
