Is Ireland About To Be The First Country To Vote In Favor Of Gay Marriage!?

no title

We’re gonna be all over the Blarney Stone if this comes true!

On May 22, Ireland could become the very first country in all the land to vote in favor of allowing same-sex couples to get married.

While there have been countries that have voted to not ban gay marriage, Ireland’s potential LGBT victory would be a gigantic step forward for equality in Western Europe since it’d be the first ‘Yes.’

According to current polling, 78 percent of the country is in favor of allowing marriage rights to queer couples, and we couldn’t be prouder.

But that’s not all — celebrities like Hozier, Colin Farrell, and Chris O’Dowd have voiced their support — so please don’t let them down! LOLZ!

However, things are not set in stone.

As you may recall, gay rights activists had a “sure thing” with the whole Prop 8 deal, until suddenly, it didn’t work out in our favor.

So, we urge any of our readers in Ireland who support equality for all, to please make your voice heard and support gay marriage on May 22!
