America Was This Close To Picking The Perfect Cast For Survivor: Second Chances!

no title

That was a really stressful episode of television!

Survivor has been one of the most watched reality TV shows for 15 years, but for the first time ever, America got to be even more involved in the fun.

That’s because the twist for Season 31 is that the cast would be determined by a vote consisting of 32 returning contestants… but only 20 would get a chance to play for a second time.

And while we told you who we wanted to see play again a couple weeks ago, America had a slightly different opinion when the vote was revealed during Wednesday night’s finale!

We’re overly excited that Peih-Gee Law, Stephen Fishbach, Shirin Oskooi, and Monica Padilla get to redeem themselves, but we can’t help but feel like we were thiiiiiiis close to getting the perfect cast.

The full list of returnees includes:

Joe Anglim, Vytas Baskauskas, Spencer Bledsoe, Jeremy Collins, Terry Deitz, Ciera Eastin, Stephen Fishbach, Tasha Fox, Abi-Maria Gomes, Woo Hwang, Kimmi Kappenberg, Peih-Gee Law, Kass McQuillen, Keith Nale, Shirin Oskooi, Monica Padilla, Andrew Savage, Jeff Varner, Kelley Wentworth, and Kelly Wiglesworth.

If only Stephanie Valencia switched places with Kelley Wentworth and Shane Powers switched with Woo Hwang or Keith Nale, it would have been most amazing group in the show’s history!

Seriously. Shane being left out is a national tragedy.

But we can’t forget to congratulate Mike Holloway on fighting his way through an onslaught of horrible people and winning the million dollars!

Are you happy with the outcome of the CBS finale??
