Is B.B. King‘s manager to blame for his death?! By poison?!
That’s what B.B. King’s daughters are claiming! Karen Williams and Patty King — both daughters of B.B. King — are claiming that his business manager, Laverne Toney, and his personal assistant poisoned the legendary Blues artist.
The two women have come forward with their accusations and reasoning and released separate, yet identical affidavits saying:
“I witnessed foreign substances and/or medication that were administered locked and hidden by Ms. Toney, leading me to believe she was administering medications or poisons into Mr. King’s body due to the non-transparency of her administration of said foreign objects, poisons, or medications.”
Tony is the executor of B.B. King’s estate and has already responded to these claims by stating:
“They’ve been making allegations all along. What’s new?”
Brent Bryson, the attorney who represents King’s estate, is also helping to squash this accusation as he went on to address the daughters by stating:
“This is extremely disrespectful to B.B. King. He did not want invasive medical procedures. He made the decision to return home for hospice care instead of staying in a hospital.
Even if these claims are wild and ridiculous, they’re still being taken seriously as a the Clark County Coroner’s office has said that there is a pending investigation into the singer’s death, and as a result B.B.’s body was examined on Sunday. However, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has stated that they are not moving forward with any investigation at this time.
