Things have been pretty rough for Teen Mom 2‘s Jenelle Evans.
As we previously reported, Myrtle Beach cops were looking for the MTV star after she attacked her ex, Nathan Griffith. However, the mother-of-two claims that her baby daddy ran over her with his truck.
Yikes! Talk about family drama!
On Wednesday, the reality star’s attorney, Amy S. Lawrence, issued a statement regarding the alleged assault.
“I can confirm that there is a warrant out for Jenelle’s arrest for criminal domestic violence, stemming from an incident that happened last night. She is not taking any charges out on him.”
However, it seems that Jenelle’s former fianc├â┬⌐ wasn’t initially interested in pressing charges but felt pressured to by the police.
“He will do everything that he can to get these charges dismissed for Jenelle. He understands that she’s hurt because they’ve broken up, and he’s dating somebody else and things escalated in a way they shouldn’t have. But he does not want her to have any kind of criminal consequence for this.”
Nonetheless, this isn’t the teen mom’s first run in with the law — in fact she’s been arrested TEN times in the past five years. What the what?
We hope Jenelle can get her act together for the sake of her sons, Jace and Kaiser. Her ex currently has custody over little Kaiser and her mother, Barbara Evans, has taken care of Jace.
But it seems that the TV personality is now ready to cooperate with the law!
Her lawyer shared:
“We are going to turn Jenelle in tomorrow morning, and we’ll have her bond hearing tomorrow afternoon in Myrtle Beach City. They’re also going to work out a custody plan as well.”
Good to hear! It seems that the squabble resulted from Jenelle’s inability to let go of her past relationship. We’ve all been there, girl!
Her rep concluded:
“She’s just├óΓé¼┬ªI think that in her heart she thought that maybe with them breaking up that they would get back together because they have a child together. And I think she’s just very hurt that he has moved on.”
Well, we hope everything works out for you, Jenelle! Perhaps don’t attack anyone again anytime soon?
