Timbaland Addresses Transphobic Comments About Caitlyn Jenner, Blames Everybody But Himself For His Insensitive Post!

Timbaland is in the midst of a Twitter meltdown after a transphobic Facebook post.

Oh, Timbaland.

Maybe it’s time to log off social media for a couple hours?

The talented music producer is in the middle of a Twitter meltdown, just hours after he got in hot water for posting a transphobic meme on his Facebook page about Caitlyn Jenner.

This time, the 43-year-old has taken to tweeting his own defense to the fallout, and, um, he’s still doing some things wrong.

His tweet stream:

That’s it? Timbaland tries then to claim that since he didn’t create the transphobic meme, that he’s not responsible for spreading it:

We’re posting it now, Timbaland! Your Twitter meltdown is interesting enough for us!

It should’ve ended at this point, with Timbaland going “back to [his] lovely day,” but… nahhh.

Timbaland alludes to Twitter users calling him by his birth name, Timothy, and mocking him for still referring to Caitlyn as Bruce:

That’s great to hear, Timbaland. Maybe next time, though, show you’ve got nothing against Caitlyn by referring to her as her, and not “him.”

But it’s obviously not Timbaland’s problem, because “some of the media outlets have so many fooled.” Riiiiiight…

And he’s still going!

Sure, Timbaland. Sharing transphobia isn’t the same as creating it, so you shouldn’t be responsible for your actions. Mmmmmkay.
