OMG, there IS a Hogwarts in America!

Over the weekend J.K. Rowling quietly answered one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of the Harry Potter universe!

It all started when a fan tweeted to the author, asking where witches and wizards in the United States would attend school to learn magic.

J.K. first debunked a long-held rumor:

And then answered pretty directly:


OK, that’s still not giving everything away, but think about it!

J.K. is currently hard at work on the script for the Harry Potter spinoff film Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them!

So if the school is still going to be revealed, that must mean it plays a part in the upcoming movie!

Fantastic Beasts really IS going to expand the Potterverse! Now we just need to figure out what happened to our letter of acceptance…
