Oh no, this is so sad.

The death of Victoria Siegel hit her family hard, but the developing news of what possibly caused her to pass away must be harder.

The Queen of Versailles brood believe cyberbullying from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend pushed her over the edge and made her turn to prescription meds, which caused her to OD.

While the Siegel family says the mean messages were coming in via her boyfriend’s phone, sources close to the family say it was happening on social media as well.

Victoria’s mom, Jacqueline made a statement through the family spokesperson on her Facebook page and wrote:

“The ex-girlfriend of Victoria’s boyfriend used his phone to send cruel and hateful text messages using the boyfriend’s phone. These messages were sent early on the morning of Victoria’s death. These messages were clearly intended to hurt Victoria and while we cannot be sure may have affected her emotional state at a time when she was emotionally vulnerable.”

Insiders close to the family are saying they don’t believe the 18-year-old wanted to kill herself.

The family planned on taking a cruise this week, and Victoria went to get her passport just in time for the trip.

As a result of that action, Victoria’s family believes she accidentally overdosed on pills when she was reportedly being bullied.

Sad.

Although this suspicion has surfaced, the Orange County Sheriff’s office revealed the girl in question is not a part of their investigation.
