Rachel Dolezal Says There’s No Proof That Her Parents Are Actually Her Parents, Maintains That Nothing About Her Is White

Rachel Dolezal is taking her press tour straight to the final seconds of her 15 minutes of fame.

Following her Today appearance on Tuesday, the former head of the NAACP Spokane chapter appeared on NBC Nightly News to talk about her racial identity with Savannah Guthrie.

While most of the court of public opinion has already made it clear that they think Rachel is in the wrong, we were interested in hearing what she had to say during her first prime time interview… but we still can’t wrap our heads around this story!

In fact, the 37-year-old went as far as saying that she’s not even sure her parents are even related to her:

“I know who raised me. I haven’t had a DNA test, there’s been no biological proof that Larry and Ruthanne are my biological parents.

I’m not necessarily saying that I can prove that they’re not, but I don’t know that I actually can prove they are. I mean, the birth certificate is issued a month and a half after I’m born… There were no medical witnesses to my birth.

I definitely am not white. Nothing about being white describes who I am. So, what’s the word for it? The closest thing that I can come to is, ‘if you’re black or white?’ I’m black. I’m more black than I am white.”

There really must be some drama going on in their family for everyone to be taking such cheap shots back and forth!

In addition to Rachel’s sit down, her 13-year-old son also spoke up for his mother saying she should be a hero.

Ch-ch-check out Savannah keeping a straight face during the interview (above)!!!
