She’s finally speaking out…
This morning on the Today show, Rachel Dolezal sat down with Matt Lauer and FINALLY discussed her scandal and her point of view.
Lauer makes sure to get to the bottom of most of the big questions everyone has in regards to Rachel’s race and when she started identifying as black.
We still don’t have an entirely clear picture — as we sometimes got confusing information such as when Rachel said she didn’t identify when she was 16 but then stated that when she was five, she “was drawing self-portraits with the brown crayon instead of the peach crayon.”
Dolezal also talks her lawsuit against Howard University, as well as touching on Albert Wilkerson, the African-American man she views as her father saying, “Albert Wilkerson is my dad. Any man can be a father. Not every man can be a dad.”
