Lemon’s at it again.
That’s right, last night on CNN Tonight, Don Lemon showed a confederate flag and then a sign with the n-word on it trying to start a debate about the use of the word (below).
The problem is, Lemon’s tactic clearly seemed like he was going for shock value, by framing the use of the word with the tag “Does This Offend You” — whereas Obama was very intelligently bringing up great relevant points while talking about the racial problem in our society in the United States.
Oh yeah, it also doesn’t help — just in case you’ve forgotten — Lemon is the same journalist that has brought you such insensitive moments as asking if a black hole could have swallowed the missing Malaysian Airlines plane back in 2014, or when he was out in Ferguson reporting and said, “Obviously, there’s a smell of marijuana in the air, as well,” or perhaps the most asinine of them all — suggesting to one of Bill Cosby’s victims that she could have “used the teeth” if she didn’t want to perform the sexual act.
Though there were some people who supported it, most seemed upset with the segment and took to Twitter to vent their frustration, even turning Don into a meme.
Check out the video (below) of Lemon’s segment last night to decide for yourself and see some of the reactions!
When life gives you Don Lemon’s, turn the channel.

Marc Maron provides the thoughtful interview, Don Lemon provides the absurdist comedy. This is the world we live in.

I don’t see why people are fired up about what @donlemon did when the same things are said on TV Shows and Music all the time #truthhurts

It’s clear that CNN has become more interested in the controversy Don Lemon garners than in his integrity as a news man.

Don Lemon is trending. No idea why. I just hope it’s because CNN finally came to their senses & fired him.
