On Wednesday, Latino artist J Balvin cancelled his Miss USA performance after Donald Trump‘s anti-Mexico rant during his presidential candidacy announcement last week.

Now the racist speech — in which Trump explained he wanted to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and make Mexico pay for it — has caused even more fires for the Apprentice star.

Following Balvin’s move, Univision announced it was ending its partnership with the Miss Universe Organization, which is partly owned by Trump!

The network released the following statement on Thursday:

“Today, the entertainment division of Univision Communications Inc. announced that it is ending the Company’s business relationship with the Miss Universe Organization, which is part-owned by Donald J. Trump, based on his recent, insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants. At Univision, we see first-hand the work ethic, love for family, strong religious values and the important role Mexican immigrants and Mexican-Americans have had and will continue to have in building the future of our country. We will not be airing the Miss USA pageant on July 12th or working on any other projects tied to the Trump Organization.”

Though the statement detailed that Univision News would still provide coverage of Trump’s run “to ensure our audience continues to have access to all points of view.”

Or, just so their audience will get all the jokes in the inevitable Saturday Night Live sketches taken from the billionaire’s presidential debates! Ha!

Do you think Univision’s actions will make Trump reconsider his stance on Mexico? SOUND OFF in the comments!
