ICYMI: Deen Castronovo, the drummer for Journey, was arrested earlier this month in Oregon for domestic violence related charges involving his wife.
However in a dramatic turn of events, it now appears the District Attorney is adding additional charges to the rock star’s rap sheet. Yikes.
It’s reported the drummer will be charged with rape, sexual abuse, coercion, and unlawful use of a weapon.
Journey has since let the 49-year-old go from their tour amidst his scandal and replaced him with Omar Hakim. Well, that only make sense, since he’s being held without bail in Marion County, Oregon!
Initially, the controversial celebrity was released on bail — but after the addition of new charges, he was hauled back behind bars. Whoa.
Unfortunately, we’re not entirely shocked by the news, as this isn’t the musician’s first bout with the law. Castronovo was also arrested back in 2012 for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
The troubled performer is reported to be due back in court today at 3 p.m. It’ll be inneresting to see how this all plays out.
Remember kids, violence is NEVER the answer.
