At the end of June, Jimmy Fallon checked himself into the ICU after injuring his hand…
And on Sunday, the Tonight Show host was spotted rocking a new cast for the first time since the accident.
However, it appears that the funny man didn’t let his injury damper his good time as he hopped on a helicopter headed to the Hamptons. Color us jealous!
As we previously reported, the Saturday Night Live alum explained that the injury was caused when his ring was caught on the side of a table while he was trying to catch his fall. Apparently, the accident almost “ripped” his finger off. Whoa!
Reps for the 40-year-old confirmed that the TV host did need minor surgery after the incident. Ouch!
But it seems the Whip It actor has retained his sense of humor throughout the whole ordeal.
He took to Twitter and quipped:
The late night personality is expected to make a full recovery despite having to cancel the taping of the Tonight Show a few weeks ago. Phew!
Nonetheless, the hit show will be on a two week hiatus as Fallon takes time to heal. Make sense — and what’s more relaxing than the Hamptons?! LOLz!
Feel better Jimmy — we’re already missing you!
